In this beautiful work Molina represents with his unmistakable style a Valkiria, the female being at the service of Odin that in the Norse mythology decides who can die or who can survive during the battle. The artwork is published on the artist's catalogue Bestias Humanas edited by Dets, published in occasion of Molina's personal exhibition at the Real Academia de España en Roma (Rome 2014).
Grease pencil on paper, signed in originale by the artist. The artwork is sold with the frame by Pippo Basile. His works aren't just simple frames but they are indeed real design pieces, like sculptures that complete the artworks of Molina.
José Molina was born in Madrid in 1965. He has been living and working in Italy for years, around Como lake. At 11 years old he started his artistic journey, attending several schools of art, and then studying painting and drawing for 10 years. At 18 years old, he began to work in the advertising world, meanwhile he graduated from the University of Fine Arts of Madrid. Beyond the job in advertising, he did illustrations, television and cartoons, and was also a consultant for big companies.
At the age of 35, Molina decided to dedicate himself only to painting. He locked up in his studio for 5 years and created three collections about the Man: Sentimientos, Morir para Vivir and Predatores. Beyond his interest in art, he studies psychology, history, philosophy and history of religions. He travels a lot around the world in order to know and understand the native’s culture and art. Josè Molina has a big artistry and he often uses canvas and pencils, with which he creates beautiful artworks that are so detailed to be confused for black and white photos. According to Molina, art is exploration, research and social commitment.

Many works (not all) have an exposed VAT of 22% included in the price, this vat will be spun off! Obviously you will pay the VAT to your destination country, if due. For example if you live in Switzerland you save 22% but you will have to pay 7.7% to your customs, if you live in Hong Kong you will save 22% and you will not have to pay anything to your customs (lucky you).
