|Artist: Lodola Marco||Width: 115 cm|
|Support: Mixed||Height: 70 cm|
In Lodola's pop art, recurrent it is the subject of the mythical 500 Fiat, the car that has marked the Italian history. Cars are one of the favourite subjects of Lodola: besides the Fiat 500 the artist chooses to represent also in other works the Porsche and the Mini. In this case into the care there is a woman that seems to overturn bacause of speed, a loved theme of New Futurism, the Movement of which Lodola is the principal exponent. The chromatic effect surprises for the opposition of the black of the car and the purple light on the back, which reflecting itself on the white wall illuminates of purplish tones the surrounding environment.
Light sculpture made in perspex and neon, signed and dated in original by the artist. The work is given with the certificate of authenticity.
Marco Lodola was born in 1955 in Pavia. He attended the Fine Arts Academy of Florence and Milan. His career started at the beginnings of the 80s, close to the New Futurism trend, a movement created by Renato Barilli, and then he began to expose in all the world (Italy, Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, New York). He has collaborated with important musicians such as Max Pezzali and Jovanotti and he made scenic designs for cinema, television and theatre.
Marco Lodola is internationally famous, very appreciated for his unique Pop style that combines art, music, cinema and design. His artworks, in particular his luminous sculptures made with perspex and neon, are characterised by vivid colours and well known subjects, such as Pin Ups, Scooters, cars, sport, and famous people.

if you LIVE IN EU
If you live in Europe (CEE) the price we show you already includes taxes. The works are taxed either with VAT exposed (22%) or VAT with the margin, if you are a private person you do not change anything, if you are a company: in In the first case, you will recover the VAT, in the second, no. When you put the works in the cart you will be separated from the vat exposed.
If you DON'T LIVE IN EU and you want an EXTRA EU shipping
Many works (not all) have an exposed VAT of 22% included in the price, this vat will be spun off! Obviously you will pay the VAT to your destination country, if due.
